Introduction

Mereo 89, LLC dba Mereo Fiber (“Mereo Fiber”, “Mereo”, “we”) strives to provide robust and reliable network for all our customers, their guests, and end users (“Users”) to use and enjoy responsibly. Mereo may deliver internet access via physical connection (e.g., Cat6, Fiber Optic) or wireless connection methods (e.g. 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz) connected to a robust backbone of active network components (“The Service”, “Services”). Mereo has designed this Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) as a framework of by which Users may guide their conduct online. This list is not to be taken as complete or exhaustive.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service in a manner that that does any of the following:

1. violates any applicable local, state, federal or international law, order or regulation;
2. interferes with upon the rights of others; or
3. interferes with or diminishes the use of the Services by others or Mereo's ability to provide the Services.

In addition to the general prohibitions above, you may not use the Services to:

1. harm or attempt to harm a minor, including, but not limited to, hosting, possessing, distributing, or transmitting child pornography;
2. participate in pyramid or other illegal soliciting schemes;
3. invade another person's privacy, stalking, harassing, or otherwise violating the rights of others;
4. post or transmit content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, promotes violence, or is otherwise offensive or objectionable in Mereo's sole discretion;
5. send bulk, commercial or unsolicited email messages;
6. breach or attempt to breach the security of another user or attempt to gain access to any organization or person's computer, software, or data without the knowledge and consent of such person;
7. post, copy, transmit, or disseminate any content that infringes the patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademark, or propriety rights of any party;
8. transmit files containing a computer virus or corrupted data; or
9. transmit such large amounts of data, information, and/or other content that may disrupt or cause a performance degradation to the Service or any related network infrastructure or facilities used to deliver the Service.

Customer Responsibility

By using the Service, you agree to abide by, and require others using the Service via your account to abide by, the terms of this AUP. Users are encouraged to regularly review this document as updated and amended at www.mereofiber.com/legal/acceptableuse. Users use of the Services is an acceptance of all terms and conditions of this AUP, secondary ISP AUP documents, and local and federal statutes regarding internet use.

Law Enforcement

Mereo Fiber maintains a policy of full compliance with governmental, regulatory, and law enforcement agencies. Should any legal request for information be made in the investigation or prosecution of a crime or suspected crime Mereo reserves the rights to share PII as defined in our Privacy Statement, as required by local or federal statutes.

Modification

Mereo reserves all rights to modify and/or update this policy without notice to Users. Use of the Service by Users shall constitute continued acceptance of this policy. Users are advised to regularly review this policy at www.mereofiber.com/legal/acceptableuse.

Violations

While Mereo has no obligation to monitor the Service and does not monitor the activity of individual Service accounts for violations of this Policy, it will respond appropriately if it becomes aware of misuse or abuse use of the Service. Mereo reserves the right immediately to suspend or terminate the Service as it deems necessary to protect the network, the Service and other Users, with or without notice. Neither Mereo nor its affiliates, suppliers, or agents will have any liability for any of these responsive actions. These actions are not Mereo’s exclusive remedies and Mereo may take any other legal or technical actions it deems appropriate with or without notice.
